Founder & Operator of Bend Biomechanics
Austin Hall
I’ve been working in fitness, rehab, athletic development and pain management for 10 years now. I am a native of Seattle, Washington but relocated to Bend, OR with my wife (Jacey) and our two daughters in order to enjoy the activities we love year round!
In Seattle, I owned and managed an exercise practice - Internal Exercise - until I sold it before relocating south. Not only do I love fitness and enjoying activities like golf, skiing, hiking and biking; I have a deep passion for helping people regain confidence in their bodies through individualized exercise and training. I can't wait to be a part of your health journey!
My Approach
I believe a human's ability to move with precision and freedom is a key trait of a healthy system. The only material in the human body that serves to move the body is your muscles, and that can only happen via the relationship of your muscle and nervous systems. Most modalities operate on the bias that muscles and other connective tissues can be stretched and released via passive lengthening techniques, however, I don't see this as an optimal approach to enhancing a person's movement and performance.
My goal for all clients is to help them move well, pain-free! In order to move well, we must have a robust muscular system that can generate tension quickly and withstand the demands (energetic and force related) placed on it. Using our procedures and assessments, we'll work together to find the root of your issues and create an exercise-based strategy to improve the state of your muscles.
